Agricultural Entrepreneurs Roundtable Event - April 21st

ISU’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students are invited to an evening Entrepreneurs Roundtable event showcasing six successful agricultural entrepreneurs from across Iowa.

The night will consist of a series of rotating roundtable discussions in an informal setting allowing students to talk candidly with entrepreneurs about their entrepreneurial journey.

The keynote speaker for the evening will be Mr. Harold Hodson, founder of Swine Genetics International. Other entrepreneurs participating include Aaron Burchland – Burchland Manufacturing, Rusty Clayton – SoyClean, Mike Nissly – Nissly & Nissly Farm Management, Andrew Dunham – Grinnell Heritage Farms, and Becky Sexton – Twin Lakes Environmental Services.

The roundtable event will be held on April 2st at the Iowa State Scheman Center, with a buffet dinner being served at 6:00pm and program to follow. Registration is free for students, however limited registration is available. Interested students may register by calling 294-4945 or via email at snoe@iastate.edu. Registration deadline is April 15th.
